Charities Supported by the Pegasus Trust

The proceeds from Stanley 2005 and Stanley 2006 have meant that a total of £77,062 has been raised for the following charities:

Marie Curie Cancer Care – Provides free nursing care to terminal cancer patients to enable them and their families to cope with the disease in their home environment.
Hope House – Two hospices in Oswestry and Conwy which provide respite and palliative care, and terminal nursing for life-limited children.
County Air Ambulance – Provides life-saving emergency care based upon speed of response, provision of two paramedics to every incident and the facility to transport patients to the most appropriate centres.
Nazareth House, Capetown, SA – Provides hospice and day care for children orphaned to HIV/AIDS mothers.
Severn Hospice - Cares for those with progressive illnesses across a broad age range through nursing and medical care, trying to sustain their quality of life and relief from pain.
Homestart - Offers support, guidance and practical help to families with children under five in their own homes.
St John Ambulance (Bridgnorth) – Gives an effective and efficient First Aid service to local communities, as well as training and products to satisfy First Aid and related health and safety needs.
Whizz Kids – Provides a broad range of mobility equipment and services to disabled children and their families that are not available through the National Health Service.

Plus a donation towards the upkeep of St Calixtus Church, Astley Abbots.
