STANLEY 2005 – MYTHS AND LEGENDS
Daytime entertainments included camel racing, a choreographed display by the Horsemen of the Apocalypse, Morris dancing and live music from acclaimed Celtic folk band, Shooglenifty.
In the evening guests were treated to a performance by famed French trapeze artists, Les Elastonauts, who were suspended by cranes and choreographed to the traditional sounds of the GKN Sankey Male Voice Choir.
This was followed by an awesome 20-minute fireworks display, synchronised to music, staged by the legendary Michael Lakin, winner of the 1998 World Fireworks Championship in Cannes.
On both occasions guests danced into the early hours to music supplied by headline DJs in custom-decorated dance tents, each with its own sound system.
Cocktails for both events were provided by Fino, the renowned London bar and restaurant, and The Soulshakers.
Canapes and a hog-roast buffet were supplied by a Shropshire catering firm.
